My expectation was that it wasn't going to do much for me, but then I started laughing in spite of myself. That's not something I do with a lot of these shorts. Kudos on the writing and voice acting and the graphics were certainly adequate. Of course superhero stuff is my niche. Anyway, cool beans!

Thanks for the review. I know what you mean about going into something and thinking to yourself "'sigh' here we go again, how bad can THIS one be?" (especially when dealing with some of the frightful content you might find on the internet) and then being pleasantly surprised. I'm just glad we were able to entertain. The music was right for the subject matter. The opening images with the bombers were simply lovely. I thought the symbolism of the falling bombs being light bulbs and the dead being balloons was nice.
My only complaint is that the falling bombs needed to be falling behind the buildings in the foreground, but I'm giving a ten anyway. Nice work!

It was cute. I think the carrot could have been female shaped and that would have been a nice touch. Now do one about how one woman's glass ceiling is probably some man's floor...

This is my favorite vid on New Grounds! The animation and the music are a great fit. There's a story to it. There are some really nice transition scenes like the panorama view where you see the girl running away in a corridor behind the hatching egg. Oh, and I'm a sucker for alien monsters that rip or shoot off bits of my clothing while I'm be chased by or fighting with them. Ask anyone. That could be me!
